Scout Active Support

Scout Active Support allows adults to give their time to Scouting on a flexible basis.

People can still be involved in Scouting without the full-time commitment of being a leader.

We currently have two Scout Active Support Units operating in Grimsby & Cleethorpes District:
Fellowship Scout Active Support Unit – Provides invaluable support to District events and undertakes work on our District campsite, Cherry Garth.

Radio Activities Scout Active Support Unit – Our Radio Scouting Team specialise in providing radio and communication activities for our young people and adults.

If you are interested in getting involved or would like to find out more, please call 01472 733733 or email join@gycscouts.org.uk and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
