Our Campsite
Cherry Garth Scout Campsite is owned and operated by Grimsby & Cleethorpes District Scout Council.
It provides a safe place for activities and camping for Scouts, Guides, schools and other youth organisations. Covering an area of four-and-a-half acres, there is plenty of space for adventure!
The site is situated in Humberston, three and a half miles from Grimsby town centre and two miles from Cleethorpes town centre. Local bus services run to both towns from just outside the site.
Facilities on site include:
- Wintringham Centre – a large brick building consisting of a fully fitted kitchen, dining room and activity room. There are no dormitories but with a fully functioning fire alarm system, the hall is able to sleep young people on the floor if needed.
- Loftus Building – our outdoor classroom; providing a good wet weather backup plan, or simply an indoor space for activities.
- Toilet Block – A clean, modern toilet block with WCs and showers.
- Campfire Circle
