Are you passionate about outdoor learning? Want to join a dynamic team committed to supporting young people in gaining skills for life?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scout Activity Support Officer to join our team based in North East Lincolnshire. Joining us on a fixed term (30 hours – 0.8 wte) contract to January 2020, you will receive a competitive salary of £18,000 per annum (pro rata).

You will be a self-motivated, outgoing individual who can deliver a range of quality activities to young people. This will include operating our mobile climbing wall, leading team building games and running activities such as archery and air rifle shooting, to name but a few.

In addition, you will be required to undertake administrative tasks and assist in facilitating promotional and recruitment activities that support our aims for growth and development. Experience in a similar field is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively alongside our team of volunteers. You must hold a current driving licence and will be appointed subject to satisfactory completion of an enhanced DBS check.
