All activities were themed around the ‘My World Challenge’ badge and included pizza making, tree planting, seed sewing, and sports such as tag rugby and even Wellington boot throwing among many other activities.

The aim of the event was to allow all Beavers who took part to complete their ‘My World Challenge’ badge, which all 70 of them managed to do while having lots of fun in the sun.

To help with the event, Grimsby In Bloom also made a donation of £107 which was spent on seeds, tree saplings and tools for the event. All the beavers came away smiling and saying they’d thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Beaver Scouts is a section of scouting for six to eight year olds and allows them to take fun well beyond the playground.
