Scout Post 2019…

sp-websiteWhat is Scout Post?

Scout Post has been running in Grimsby and Cleethorpes District for many years. Scout Groups offer the public a local postal service to deliver Christmas cards across North East Lincolnshire and parts of Lincolnshire.

How does it work?

Stamps are priced at just 30p this year and are on sale from 11th November 2019. They can be purchased from various retail outlets and public buildings across the area – for a full list, please CLICK HERE.

We will also be selling stamps in Freshney Place again this year from 2nd December to 7th December.

Christmas cards are then posted in Scout Post boxes, available at the same locations from 24th November 2019. Cards must be fully addressed with: Surname, House Name/Number, Street Name and Post Code.

All cards must be posted by 6pm on Tuesday 10th December 2019.

Local Scout Groups will then collect, sort and deliver the cards between 14th December and Christmas Eve.

All proceeds go to support Scouting in the local area – helping to provide young people with skills for life.
